Cookie Policy
This policy explains how YNF Deals uses cookies on ynfdeals.com. The short version: we use a small set of first-party cookies that are strictly necessary to run the store — keeping you signed in, holding your shopping bag, remembering your preferences, and protecting you and us from fraud. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or third-party analytics pixels of any kind.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. When you return to the site, your browser sends the cookie back, which lets the site recognize your session — for example, that you are the same visitor who signed in a moment ago or placed an item in a bag.
Two distinctions matter for this policy. First-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting (here, ynfdeals.com); third-party cookies are set by other companies whose code runs on the page, and are the mechanism most often used for cross-site advertising. Separately, session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies remain for a set period so the site can recognize you on your next visit.
2. Our approach: essential, first-party only
ynfdeals.com sets only first-party cookies, and only for essential functions: sign-in and session management, your shopping bag, language and display preferences, your cookie-consent choice, and a device-recognition cookie used for fraud prevention and to record proof of legal consent. Every cookie we set is described in the table in Section 3.
Just as important is what we do not do:
- No third-party advertising cookies, and no participation in advertising networks.
- No third-party analytics pixels — no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no comparable trackers.
- No selling or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, in cookies or otherwise. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.
One narrow exception involves Cloudflare, the content-delivery and security provider that sits in front of our site to defend it against bots and denial-of-service attacks. Cloudflare may set its own operational cookies for security purposes, such as distinguishing real visitors from automated traffic. These cookies exist to keep the site available and safe; they are not used for advertising. Cloudflare's practices are governed by its own privacy policy.
Purchases made through our TikTok Shop channels ("YNF Deals" and "YNF Fragrance") happen on TikTok's platform, not ours. TikTok applies its own cookies and terms there; this policy covers ynfdeals.com only.
3. The cookies we use
The table below lists each cookie set when you use ynfdeals.com, what it does, who sets it, and how long it lasts.

We do not use cookies beyond those listed here. If we ever add one, we will update this table before it goes live.
4. The ynf_fp fraud-prevention cookie, explained
We want to be straightforward about ynf_fp, because "device recognition" can sound like tracking. Here is exactly what it is and what it does.
4.1 What it does
When you visit ynfdeals.com, we assign your browser a random identifier stored in the ynf_fp cookie. It serves two purposes:
- Fraud prevention. Recognizing a returning device helps our partially automated fraud screening spot patterns that individual page views cannot — for example, many new accounts created from one device, repeated failed payment attempts, or activity linked to prior chargeback abuse. This protects customers whose payment details have been stolen as much as it protects us.
- Proof of consent. When you accept our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or a cookie-banner choice, we record that acceptance in a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit log. The ynf_fp identifier is part of that record, so we can later demonstrate that a real consent event occurred from your device. Because these records serve as legal evidence, they are retained even after the cookie itself expires.
4.2 What it does not do
- It is not used for advertising, ad measurement, or audience building.
- It is never shared with ad networks, data brokers, or any third party.
- It works only on ynfdeals.com — it cannot and does not follow you to other websites.
- It contains no personal details; it is a random identifier that means nothing outside our own systems.
If our fraud screening leads to an adverse decision about your order or account, a human will review that decision on request — contact [email protected].
5. Managing your cookies
5.1 The cookie banner
On your first visit, our cookie banner tells you which cookies the site uses and records your choice in the ynf_consent cookie. Because we set only essential cookies, there are no optional advertising or analytics categories to toggle — the banner exists to inform you and to document your acknowledgment, which we keep as part of our consent records.
5.2 Browser settings
Every major browser lets you view, delete, and block cookies — for individual sites or across the board. Look under your browser's privacy or site-settings section. You can also set your browser to clear cookies each time you close it, or to warn you before a cookie is stored.
5.3 What happens if you block essential cookies
Because every cookie we set is functional, blocking them has real consequences on ynfdeals.com:
- Without the session cookie, you cannot sign in, and your shopping bag will not hold items — checkout will not work.
- Without the preferences cookie, language and display settings reset on every page.
- Without ynf_consent, the cookie banner will reappear on each visit.
- Without ynf_fp, our fraud screening has less context, and orders from your device may face additional verification steps.
- Blocking Cloudflare's security cookies may cause repeated verification challenges or prevent pages from loading.
You are free to block them anyway — you can still browse the shop — but the store's account and checkout features depend on them.
6. Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use or how we use them, we will update this policy and the table in Section 3 before the change takes effect. The revision date shown on this page reflects the latest version. If a change is material — for example, if we ever introduced a new category of cookie — we will make that clear on the site rather than bury it in an edit.
Our commitment stands regardless of revisions: no third-party advertising cookies, and no third-party analytics pixels. This policy works alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which govern the personal data behind these cookies and your use of the site generally.
